Keys to HHAO Educational Approach

We believe that the strength in our educational approach lies within our efforts put forth, to address the key challenges that Haiti’s most vulnerable individuals face in the educational system everyday.

Tackling Low Enrollment: We aim to provide families access to quality education, and little to no fees school. This address fees that are often too expensive for low income families to afford.

Addressing our Poor Literacy Rates: We aim to increase the resources and level of support available to each child and their families through collaborations, trainings and the development of a strong curriculum.

Shortage of Qualified Teachers: We aim to prioritize teachers’ competence and compassion, as well as bringing onboard a pool of well qualified staffs that are committed to their contribution in the betterment of each child.

Through this variety of initiatives, we are hopeful to no longer have statistics showing half of the Haitian adult population being illiterate, but one day see a Haiti with a well educated population.
